Next James Bond movie would not come before 2018

Daniel Craig has been playing the role of James Bond quite successfully but had indicated that he would not pay the role again. Therefore, there were rumors that Idris Elba would be roped in to become the new James Bond. He, however, appears to have ruled himself out as a replacement. His reasons - he is too old - despite being five years younger than Craig. And - he finds it terrible to run around in cars and ladies and Martinis.
This has been reported in news.sky.com dated 24 July 2016.
But - another Bond movie must come and, Producer Barbara Broccoli plans to have one in 2018. She wants to wants to work on two other film projects next year and then another James Bond. She wants Daniel Craig to play the role yet again and feels he would have had a change of heart by then.
Apart from Idris Elba, the 43-year-old Luther star, other contenders are Colin Salmon (53) who has edged ahead of him into fifth. The list has American Hustle actor Jack Huston as the frontrunner. Poldark star Aidan Turner and James Norton, who appeared in War And Peace and Happy Valley, are joint second. Next in line at fourth is Tom Hiddleston, who has recently been pictured with the American singer Taylor Swift.
