Comedienne 44-year-old Amy Poehler is set to be honored with the 2,566th star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame. She is the Golden Globe-winner and will unveil the coveted plaque during a ceremony in front of the Hollywood Wax Museum on December 3.

Her former “Parks and Recreation” co-star Rashida Jones and Mike Schur, the creator of the show, have been tapped to salute their friend at the Walk of Fame induction.
Walk of Fame producer Ana Martinez said in a statement that she was thrilled that Amy Poehler would get this recognition.
Ana has said that Amy has kept us in stitches for so many years with her career as one of Hollywood’s top comedic actresses and asks fans to be ready for a ceremony full of laughter!
Amy shot to fame as a featured player on US comedy show “Saturday Night Live”, and the 12-time Emmy nominee also runs her own production company. She had became a number one New York Times best-seller with her memoir “Yes Please” last year.
