This has been reported in ibnlive.com dated 13 October 2015.
The decision to shoot in 3D was a recent one. Some key scenes will be filmed using motion capture technology and the team has already started prepping. These scenes featuring the technology will be shot at a studio in Hollywood.
It may be recalled that motion capture technology had earlier been used in Rajinikanth's animated film 'Kochadaiiyaan' – that film had been directed by his daughter Soundarya.
‘Enthiran 2’ will be directed by Shankar and produced by Lyca International and will also feature Amy Jackson. It is expected to go on the floors early next year.
